Hey there! So I typed an update Friday and I guess it didn’t post??? So here is the latest! I had my PET scan Friday along with a follow up after. I was very nervous about this scan because I’ve had a crazy week and I haven’t had treatment since the beginning of August due to all of the random illnesses I’ve had. So with great gratitude my scan came back pretty good!!! She said 2 of my 4 liver lesions (tumors) we gone and most of the other spots around my body have shrunk also!!!! I try not to get my hopes up too much cause I know how this goes it’s up and down but dang it I am so happy you can’t wipe this smile off my face!! On the way home I just felt like I could breathe, and I told Brad I’m going to be okay!!! He smiled and said yes you are!!! Guys I’m going to fight this thing so hard!!! It’s been tough and I know it will get tougher but I gotta!
So I know your probably wondering about my last post about it growing…Basically her explanation is that they base results on past results. She said this last CT scan was clearer than the last so the past measurements weren’t accurate completely so it looked like it had grown. She still wants me to meet with Dr O’Neil at IU to get his opinion and I go on Tuesday. She said since I’ve had a break it would be a good time to adjust things…I’ve been having some reactions such as hives due to the oxolyplaten drug so she wants to change it up. So I meet with him Tuesday and back to her Wednesday. Soo that’s my story for the week! I again with all of my heart want to thank all of you that pray for me and encourage me everyday!! I have days where I just want to run away and hide from it all, but you all keep me going along with my absolutely AMAZING husband and my beautiful girls! I’m thankful for each and everyone one of you! And for those behind the scenes working their tails off to make life easy for me and the ones keeping my kids at a drop of a hat you know how gracious I am for you!! I’m beyond blessed!!
