Did you know that sometimes chemo patients need up to six units of blood after each chemotherapy treatment to restore their strength?

Although Jessica has not yet needed to receive blood after her treatments the possibility is still there for the future.  Please consider donating during the blood drive we are having in her honor.

The donation process takes less than an hour.  It is recommended that donors have a light snack before donating.  Most people are eligible to donate.  There are very few causes for deferral and very few medications that are not acceptable.
