Hey friends here’s the latest.. I met with my IU oncologist on Tuesday to go over what’s next. The plan is for me to go back on a chemo formulation I’ve been on before along with a clinical trial drug. That drug is supposed to make my tumors more sensitive to the chemo. All of this will start July 10th and I will have to have all treatments at IU. The trial drug is a pill I will take 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening everyday. The chemo infusion will be every other week on Mondays. After 8 weeks of this regimen I will get scans to insure it’s doing it’s job. Which the job is shrinking and stabilizing the cancer.
I’m dreading this but it’s what I have to do. So for now I’m going to enjoy every single feel good day I have before this starts!! Thank you to all of you who continue to send me prayers, well wishes and donations 💜 I pray every night to give me the strength for a long fight…thats what this is.. I will never be cancer free I just have to keep it at bay like a chronic illness. So prepare for the good, bad and the ugly cause I’m not giving up!! Love you all and again my apologies for my terrible texting skills. I am terrible at replying to messages but know I love you and I will get back to you eventually lol…. My brain is in a million places at all times!
