Hello  stopping in for a little update. As you all know I have been really enjoying this chemo break the best I can! It’s been 3 months and I’m just now starting to feel somewhat normal lol! As you know while on the break I still go in for a infusion of Avastin which gives me a few side effects but nothing terrible. Every other appt they also do blood work and check my levels and my CEA (Tumor Markers). Unfortunately my last CEA test showed an increase of this number. With that said they don’t base my treatment off those numbers alone. They will check them again and see if they steadily increase and also do scans. So my last set of scans were done in February and everything showed stable. She was going to do repeat scans in 3 months but now has decided to move it up. I’m scheduled for a PET scan on the 18th and I will have an infusion and meeting with the doctor to discuss the scan results on the 19th. Please pray everything has remained stable so I can continue my break  I love nothing more than getting to be the mom, wife, family member and friend I wanna be instead of me having to be in bed all the time  of course eventually I will have to be back on treatment, just want to wait a bit!
