Well friends I’m back sooner than expected with an update. So starting yesterday afternoon I began to have sharp pains in my liver area and rib cage radiating to my back. I’ve been battling a severe cold and cough since the beginning of October. So at first I thought I had pulled a muscle coughing but it continued to get worse. As a cancer patient you have to report every change as they are always looking for blood clots. So this morning I called my nurse navigator and she instructed me to go to the ER and she would call over and get orders ready..I have to be honest, with every new pain I get nervous the monster is growing. So they decided to do blood work, chest xray and to go ahead with my CT scan I’m supposed to have next week. Sooo after being there roughly 5 hrs I still don’t know what’s causing the pain they think it could be muscular or arthritis. However I do know that my CT report was great news…All of my tumors have SHRUNK in size!!! So the chemo has been doing its job!!!! This is the best Christmas gift ever!!! I will never be rid of this disease so shrinking to a smaller size will be fine with me!!! My prayers have been answered 💙 I want to thank you for your prayers and well wishes!! I also want to thank all of those who make all of this craziness less crazy for my children..you are so willing to lend a helping hand, give my kids a warm smile and hug when you see them and invite them to playdates to make life seem normal. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart💜 and to my husband…words can’t describe what he has taken on since all of this and he remains strong and rushes to my side through everything. I’m forever grateful and love you with all of my heart💜 My friends and family are absolutely rockstars…the things they have done and continually do for me is mind blowing! Just know I love you so much and appreciate everything!!! Every one of you has some role in this journey with me, and I’m so thankful for you all.
